Can I use prepaid cards or Postepay to pay for an order?
Yes. For orders placed in Italy, Postepay and the principal prepaid cards on the Visa Electron network are also accepted.
Please ensure your prepaid card has sufficient funds before proceeding and select 'Credit Card' at checkout. Check your bank for any applicable limits or activation requirements.
Are online payments on Santoni secure?
Yes. All online payments are processed via an encrypted, secure connection directly with your bank or payment provider. Santoni cannot access the details of your card or payment method. Financial information (such as your card number and expiry date) is never stored or retained by Santoni in any form.
Should you have any concerns regarding the security of your card, please contact your bank or payment provider directly.
What is PSD security and how does 3D Secure authentication work?
The European PSD2 regulation strengthens the security of online payments by introducing Strong Customer Authentication (3D Secure). When paying by card, your bank may ask you to verify your identity via an SMS code, email, Touch ID, or other methods. This system reduces the risk of fraud, identity theft and unauthorised card use, thereby protecting the card holder’s data.
Verify with your bank that your contact details (phone number and email address) are up to date so that the 3D Secure authentication process can be correctly completed.
Can I pay with Apple Pay, PayPal, Klarna, and Scalapay?
Where available for your country, you can also pay using Apple Pay, PayPal, Klarna and Scalapay. When selecting one of these methods, you will be redirected to the relevant provider's website or app to complete your payment in accordance with their terms and conditions. Your payment details are handled directly by the provider and are not shared with Santoni. In the event of a refund, the amount will be returned to the same account or payment method used at the time of purchase; processing times are determined solely by the provider.
Please refer to the Orders & Payments page for availability of these methods and contact your provider directly for information on refund times and methods (e.g. PayPal, Klarna, Scalapay).
Who is responsible for the payment details entered during the order process?
The Customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of the payment details submitted and confirms that they are the legitimate holder of, or are duly authorised to use, the card or payment method provided. Santoni cannot be held liable for any fraudulent or unauthorised use of cards by third parties.
Before confirming your order, please review all payment information carefully and contact your bank immediately should you suspect any fraudulent activity.
Why was my payment declined?
A payment may be declined for a number of reasons, including: incorrect card details or billing address; card not authorised for international transactions; credit limit or online payment limit reached; payment session timed out due to inactivity. In such cases, the order will not be confirmed and no charge will be applied.
Please check your card details and billing address, verify any online payment limits or restrictions with your bank, and attempt the transaction again. Should the issue persist, please contact Customer Care .
Where can I find complete information about prices and payments?
Comprehensive details regarding prices, currencies, taxes, shipping costs, payment methods, and security are available on the Orders & Payments page and the Terms & Conditions of Sale page on the Santoni website.
We recommend consulting both pages before completing your purchase.
