Santoni crafts the leather straps by hand in its own workshops exclusively for IWC Schaffhausen. The straps are then hand-painted with Santoni's famous patina technique, a unique art handed down through generations of craftsmen to give the leather its hallmark finish. Skilled artisans apply the dyes by hand, first with a small piece of woollen cloth and then with a brush for the details. The result is a genuine work of art, with a colour range rich in unique shades.
